Janet Jackson’s $20 Million Dollar Wedding Plans [PHOTOS]

Its rumored that pop icon Janet Jackson is
going to be tying the knot, but doing it
extravagantly as she is breaking the bank
to do so.

Janet Jackson and billionaire hubby Wissam Al
Mana are reported to be getting married in 2013
and their wedding plans and expenses are off the
wall. Right now they are looking at 3 million to
fly their 500 guests in from all over the world
along with a $10,000 Rolex for each of the
guests that attend running them already 8
million.
Wissam although being a billionaire already has
definitely hit the jack pot and landed himself a
woman of experience as Janet is almost 10
years older than him. As per
iamnotacelebrityasskisser.blogspot.com they
have been dating since 2010 and Janet doesn’t
seem to mind at all, because when asked about
the age difference she simply said:
My mother always raised us to believe that age
was just a number. All of us, my sisters, my
brothers, we’ll just tell you our ages because it’s
all about where you are mentally and how you
feel about yourself. It doesn’t matter.”

Guess age and money is nothing but a
number to this open minded couple...

Diezani Alison-Madueke Maintained Rooms In Two New York Luxury Hotels During UN Assembly- Sahara Reporters

Investigations by SaharaReporters revealed
that Nigeria’s Petroleum Minister, Diezani
Alison-Madueke, booked and paid for two
rooms in two separate high-cost hotels during
the four nights she spent in New York City
during the just concluded United Nations
General Assembly.
Impeccable sources within the Presidency and
the delegation of the Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) disclosed that
the minister’s two rooms were booked under
a pseudonym.
Saharareporters discovered that Joe Mordi,
one of the minister’s closest aides who works
at the NNPC office in London, booked her into
a one-bedroom suite at Four Seasons Hotel
located at 57 East 57th Street, New York.
When SaharaReporters inquired at the hotel,
a staff said that the suite cost $5,000 per
night. Ms. Alison-Madueke, who is known
around Presidency circles as “Prime Minister,”
was also booked into another room at the
Pierre Hotel on 2 East 61st Street in New York
where President Goodluck Jonathan lodged
during his stay in New York. SaharaReporters
found out that her room on the 28th floor of
the Pierre Hotel cost Nigerian tax payers
$3,000 per night. There were also additional
charges in taxes and service fees.
Ms. Alison-Madueke arrived in New York in
style on a private jet on Monday from London
where she had made a brief stop to continue
treatment for an undisclosed ailment. She is
billed to return to London today. President
Jonathan left New York last night around 6:00
p.m. and has arrived in Nigeria very early
today.
SaharaReporters also learnt that, apart from
the lavish double accommodation enjoyed by
the Petroleum minister in two of New York
City’s most expensive hotels, her delegation of
seven NNPC officials also engaged in other
acts of reckless spending. “The NNPC hired
ten limousines to ferry its 7 officials, including
the General Managing Director,” said our
source. Five of the limousines, rented for
$1,800 each per day, were stationed
permanently in front of the Pierre Hotel while
another five were put to the service of the
NNPC officials at the Four Seasons.
The Nigerian delegation’s profligacy during
the New York trip earned the attraction of
America’s mainstream media. New York-based
National Broadcasting Corporation ((NBC), one
of the top three television networks in the US,
yesterday reported that African delegates
from the poorest countries stayed in some of
the most expensive hotels and shopped in
high-priced retail stores during the UN
General Assembly. The network focused on
delegates from such countries as Togo,
Swaziland, and Nigeria. SaharaReporters had
earlier reported that President Jonathan was
quartered at the Pierre Hotel in a suite that
cost $10,000 per night.
International measurements of social indices
routinely rank Nigeria as one of the world’s
least developed countries. Some 70% of
Nigerians live on less than 2 dollars per day.
“It is sad that the mindless waste of public
resources in New York by President Jonathan
and other Nigerian officials was happening at
a time when two million Nigerians have been
displaced from their homes by ravaging
floods,” said an Abuja-based civil society
activist.

"I’m going all-natural," Rose tells the

want those bragging rights! The next time
Wiz has a stomachache or anything, I’ll say, ‘I
popped out a baby all-natural.’”
What attracted Amber to her man?
"[H]e’s just a genuine sweet guy," she says.
"And I just said, “You know what, I don’t care

“Oh, you’re a gold-digger.” I don’t care if
people say, “Oh, you went from one rapper to

"I love him. I don’t look at him as a rapper. I
look at him as Cameron Thomaz, not even Wiz

Ahmed Grema Mohammed, Top Immigration Officer Working For Boko Haram Arrested

The resolve of Nigeria's security agencies to flush
out the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram from
parts of the North, yielded more fruits
culminating in the arrest of agents of the terrorist
group in some paramilitary agencies
Among those arrested in the latest onslaught
was Ahmed Grema Mohammed, a top
immigration officer whose confessions led to the
arrest of others who have been carrying attacks
on government officials across some States of the
North.
According to the Spokesman of the JTF, Lt.
Colonel Sagir Musa, those already apprehended
are some security personnel who have been
carrying out attacks in Borno and Yobe which he
said was a major breakthrough in their efforts at
flushing out insiders in the security forces
collaborating with the deadly groups.
A Statement by Musa said that those arrested
have confessed to being active members of the
Boko Haram sect who joined the sect well before
the 2009 crisis and received a lot of training in
and outside the country.
He said that Grema also confessed to have been
trained alongside 15 other members of the sect
on weapon handling, assassinations and special
operations in Niger Republic.
Musa said Grema was arrested at a checkpoint
on his way to Maiduguri while impersonating as a
Nigeria Army lieutenant.
He further said during the trip Grema had
planned killing a former special adviser to the
immediate governor of Borno state. He also
disclosed that Grema had equally confessed to
the killings of some senior civil servants, security
agencies and politicians in Yobe and Borno States
who spoke against the activities of the sect,
including the slain former chairman of Damboa
LGA, Alhaji Lawal Kawu.
Grema was also among those that led attacks on
Yobe Police Command, Damaturu Prison, some
primary schools, among others.

Too Much Money: Living in Lagos, Shopping in London.

The London Evening Standard‘s feature on Simi
Osomo, a 25 year-old Nigerian who makes six
trips to London spending a total of £30,000
(N7,622,220) got my attention this morning.
According to the report, she spends about two
weeks during each trip and goes shopping
everyday of her trip.
Speaking about Nigerians and their shopping
habits, she told the Standard “When it comes to
shopping and Nigerians, I can tell you it’s just
what we have to do.”
During every trip, she spends about £5,000
(N1,270,370). She tells the Standard that aside
from the fact that goods are cheaper in London, it
gives her a chance to have a holiday. “You can
get lots of things in Lagos but they are cheaper
here and you get to take a holiday and relax a bit.
It’s only six hours away.”
Although she likes the variety of London, Marks &
Spencer is one of Osomo’s favourite shops. “I love
their fajitas. You can’t get them in Nigeria. I also
buy soy sauce and Thai green curry paste, which
is good because it lasts for a long time. Oh, and
Crunchy Nut cereal, Skittles, Maltesers and tea.
There’s nothing like a British cuppa. I get Lipton,
PG and green tea. I love Zara, H&M, Topshop. But
if I want something more high end, there’s Sloane
Street.”
When it comes to getting her haul of hopping
back to Lagos, she says it is costly. “All I pack
when I come over is one pair of jeans and three
tops. I bring two big suitcases but I always have
to get another one and pay for excess baggage. I
never learn.” British Airways has increased its
excess baggage charge on flights from London to
Lagos from £40 to £97 per suitcase in the past
year. “They must have realised we always put an
extra bag in and thought they’d try to make
money out of it,” she told the Standard.
During her chat with Standard, she wore a green
top from Zara, blue skinny jeans and new
Christian Louboutin shoes. She also planned to
buy an iPhone 5 later in the day for her sister.
She said Zara which opened an outlet store in
Lagos six months ago is affordable.
”Zara is affordable because it’s an outlet but
what I find is that things are a bit last season.
Nigeria’s hot all the time so there are always maxi
dresses and swimwear but the colours are boring
and we lack variety. Customer service is not great
and some shops can get really crowded, which is
challenging.”

According to Osomo, it is not just rich Nigerians
who come over to shop in the UK. “Middle-class
people can afford to come and spend £600 on
shopping in a week here. What I like about the UK
is that it doesn’t discriminate. As long as you’re
able to prove you have an income,
accommodation in London and a return ticket,
the authorities are more than willing to give you a
visa. It’s closer than America and the customer
service here is phenomenal.”
She loves to shop in summer which is the height
of the shopping season, and also comes back for
the January sales too. Her mother, a lawyer, and
father, a businessman, often join her. She has just
finished a law degree and is about to start a job in
fashion journalism, which she hopes will give her
enough holidays for trips to London.

Nigerian-Born Christmas Day bomber’s Underwear Failed to Detonate “Because he had worn them for THREE WEEKS!”- FBI

On December 25th, 2009, Umar Farouk
Abdulmutallab, a Nigerian tried to detonate an
explosive aboard a Northwest Flight 253 over
Detroit in the United States of America. As the
son of one of Nigeria’s most prominent
businessmen and someone who had access to
international travel and a world-class
education, his terrorist act took Nigeria by
surprise.
Umar has since been sentenced to life
imprisonment without parole. However, the FBI
has recently revealed the reason why
the explosives failed to go off.
During his trial he said the bomb in his underwear
was a ‘blessed weapon’ to avenge poorly treated
Muslims around the world.
Two FBI agents told WXYZ TV that Umar
confessed to the plot, saying that he had worn
the explosive underwear for three weeks in order
to get used to it and make sure he could get it
through security.
“So basically for three weeks he wore this
garment, these underwear with this device in
it. We think ultimately that is probably what
caused the disruption in the sequence of events
in the explosion,” said FBI agent Ted Peissig.
The agents also revealed that Umar was not
recruited by al Qaeda, but the other way around.
“He sought out al Qaeda relentlessly,” another FBI
agent on the case, Mike Connelly said. “He
persisted and he was almost turned away at
times, you know, by al Qaeda. But he refused to
relent.”
FBI agents also say the Underwear Bomber might
have inadvertently foiled his own plot because of
his obsession about making sure the bomb would
not be detected. They further revealed that he
had been instructed to detonate the bomb over a
populated area to maximize the death toll.
Here is the account of the FBI agents as reported
by WXYZ TV
In Abdulmutallab’s mind it was an act of
martyrdom and jihad. He had no feelings for the
men, women and children around him who were
about die, according to the FBI agents.
“He did not bat an eye in saying if that plane was
going to go down, it was going to go down. That
was God’s call. That wasn’t his call. His
responsibility was just to detonate the bomb, and
whatever happened, happened,” says agent
Connelly.
As the huge jumbo jet carrying over 300 people
was approaching Detroit, Abulmutallab
disappeared into the restroom to wash himself, a
ritual for his passage into the next life. When he
returned to his seat he told the guy sitting next
to him that he wasn’t feeling well.
“And pulled a blanket almost completely
concealing himself up to the chin,” says Agent
Peissig.
Using a plastic syringe, Abdulmutallab injected a
mixture of liquids and solids into the explosive
chemicals already packed into his underwear.
But Instead of exploding, the bomb burst into
flames, setting his clothes and the blanket on fire,
seriously burning him.
The two agents who visited Nigeria during the
course of his investigation said they extracted
detailed and chilling information about
Abdulmutallab and his mission, getting a rare
glimpse into the mind of a suicide bomber.
“In his tone, his conversation, he’s very
reserved,” adds agent Connelly. “He’s deliberate
in his speech.”
“The witnesses remarked about how he just
looked like a simple young school boy,” says
Peissig.
But appearances don’t match reality in the case
of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Agents say he
was an extreme fanatic and a very dangerous
man.
He was hell-bent on taking down a jumbo jet over
Detroit with no consideration for the hundreds
who would die in the plane and on the ground.
“He is completely different from any terrorist that
I’ve had the ability to talk to,” explains Connelly.
“Different because of his absolute devotion to
Jihad. The degree of conviction that he had to the
cause is unparalleled.”
We are glad his attempt to kill innocent people
was foiled.
