Kate 'Topless' Photos Shock Royal Couple As French Magazine Closer Plans Publication Of Photos Taken At Private Provence Getaway

A new royal privacy row is poised to break out after a French magazine claimed it would publish topless photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge today.
The magazine, Closer, said it had exclusive pictures of Kate topless on the terrace of a private chateau owned by the Queen's nephew Lord Linley.
Its website also showed an image of the front cover with the Duchess in a bikini apparently about to remove her top.

The pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge were taken with a long lens, at a private home
Speaking about the royal couple a source said: "They're saddened their privacy has been breached - if it has been breached."
The source stressed it could not confirm if the pictures were of Kate as they appeared to have been taken with a long lens and were pixellated.
The source added: "We will talk to our lawyers in London and counterparts in Paris to see what options are available."
He went on to say: "We're not aware of anyone (in the UK) seeking to publish so the Press Complaints Commission is not coming into it."
The BBC's royal reporter Nicholas Witchell said it appeared British newspapers were offered the alleged photographs of the couple last week, but turned them down.

Closer magazine published a preview of the pixellated photos on its website
The pictures were allegedly taken while Kate was on holiday with her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, in France last week.
The couple were staying at the Provence chateau, ahead of their current Diamond Jubilee tour of south-east Asia and the South Pacific on behalf of the Queen.
The publication would restart the row over privacy which raged around Prince Harry last month, when embarrassing images emerged of him frolicking naked in a Las Vegas hotel.
The Sun was the only British newspaper to defy a Press Complaints Commission advisory note not to publish photos of Harry in the nude with an unnamed woman.
The Mail said that the pictures of the Duchess were clearly taken on private property using cameras with extremely long lenses, which means no British newspaper would publish them.
It said the timing of publication could not be worse, with the Cambridges almost midway though a hugely successful tour on behalf of the Queen to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.
They arrived in Singapore on Tuesday and are currently in Malaysia before travelling on to Borneo then the South Pacific.

The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Assyakirin Mosque in Kuala Lumpur, wearing a headscarf and removing her shoes
Malaysia is a largely Muslim country with laws on public decency which makes the timing of the photos even more difficult.
At the Assyakirin Mosque in Kuala Lumpur on Friday the couple arrived to find two seats waiting for them at the bottom of marble steps, leading up to the domed place of worship, so they could take off their shoes.
Kate wore a grey dress by Eulah London with a matching headscarf and in keeping with Islamic custom when visiting a mosque, her outfit had sleeves and the hem of the gown was below the knee.
The Duchess's nude LK Bennett heels slipped off easily to reveal stockinged feet, while the Duke had on black socks.
At the top of the steps they were greeted by the Imam of the mosque Ustaz Saiful, director of Islamic religious department Datuk Che Mat Bin Che Ali, chairman of the mosque Syed Abdullah, general manager of facilities Shausudin Ishak and head division development manager Datin Faudziah Ibrahim.
In front of them were row after row of pillars and the party strode through the one-and-a-half acre site built in 1997 which can cater for up to 12,000 worshippers at the height of Friday prayers, with space for a further 3,000 in the grounds.
As they were guided into the large space, William asked "So is this where everyone gathers? When is your biggest service? How many people gather here?" When he was told as up to 12,000 on Fridays, he exclaimed: "Wow. So many."
The Duchess, whose scarf matched her outfit and framed her face, was deep in discussion with the development manager with the royal telling her "It's so peaceful in here", adding: "It's really amazing."
When she mentioned she had been to Edinburgh University for her degree and masters, Kate said: "Oh wow, really? Well it's very cold there compared to here," and the two both covered their mouths giggling.
In front of them were five men sitting crossed-legged on the floor chanting passages from the Koran, which was help open on small tables in front of them.
The royals looked up at a dome above them which was decorated with writings from the Koran and through the windows of the roof could be seen the looming Petronas towers, Kuala Lumpur's famous landmark.
Before leaving the royals stopped to watch three men performing their ablutions - washing face, ears, hands and feet - that must be performed before prayers can be made.
The trio were bent over running taps oblivious to the royals watching them complete the ritual.
The royal couple sat down at their starting point to replace their footwear and William handed Kate her shoes before tying his laces, and the Duchess joked with her partner telling him "mine are easy".
Later on Friday, the royal couple will experience the full diversity of Malaysian life when an outdoor extravaganza is staged in their honour.
They will enjoy a cultural fair of music and dance, in the capital Kuala Lumpur, reflecting all aspects of the Commonwealth country's heritage.
Later, at a lunch given by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce, trade links between the two nations will be highlighted by the Duke when he gives a speech to the assembled businessmen and women.
He is expected to underline the importance of the relationship both for British and Malaysian prosperity and for cultural ties between the two nations.
During the day, William and Kate will also enjoy a Diamond Jubilee tea party hosted by Simon Featherstone, the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, and his wife Gail at their residence.
At the end of the day, the royal couple will leave mainland Malaysia and fly to Kota Kinabalu, capital of the state of Sabah on Borneo, from which they will travel into the rainforest jungle tomorrow to explore the habitat.

...NNPC: Diezani’s Convoy Did Not Kill Newspaperman-PM News, Lagos

The Acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Mr. Fidel Pepple has described as untrue reports that the convoy of the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke was involved in a deadly car crash which killed Mr. James Momoh, a staff of the Nigerian Pilot Newspaper in Abuja.
Mr. Pepple however confirmed that a shuttle vehicle belonging to the Corporation was involved in an accident which eventually led to the death of the Pilot Newspaper staff.
“I want to state categorically that the unfortunate event of last night has nothing to do with the convoy of the Honourable Minister as speculated.
The accident involved one of our shuttle buses which regrettably knocked down a pedestrian in the Mabushi area of Abuja and was immediately rushed to the NNPC Medical Centre for attention. But sadly the young man gave up the ghost,’’ he said.
The NNPC spokesman stated that the Minister’s convoy was not involved in the crash in any way noting that the vehicle in question is not part of the minister’s pilot vehicles.
He said the Management of the NNPC has taken steps to meet with the family of the deceased as well as the Management of Pilot Newspapers

Muslims In Jos Protest Film That Purportedly Blasphemed Prophet Mohammed

A group of Muslims in the troubled tin city of Jos, Plateau State, yesterday evening held a demonstration over an America-produced film that purportedly blasphemed Prophet Muhammad.
The protesters, who defied security agents, said they would rather die than to watch their Prophet insulted, and will submit only to the laws of Allah which, to them, are supreme to any other law.

The mostly youth and children protesters, who numbered almost 100 were led by one Malam Mansur Sani Adamu in the demonstration, which took place on Bauchi Road. They carried placards condemning the United States, Israel, Denmark and Holland, accusing them of plotting against Islam and Muslims. Before they dispersed, they chanted, “Allahuakubar, Allahuakubar, they have touched our Prophet....”

Malam Adamu said, “We are doing this to express our anger against enemies of Allah and Islam led by America and her allies like Israel, Denmark and Holland because they are plotting against Islam. These days they have also produced another depicting film; this is what is troubling us.

This denigration of Prophet Muhammad is very sad and we are against it. With this it is better that it is death that consumed us for our Prophet to be denigrated. All Muslims in the world should come out and protest and those who cannot should pray.”

According to our source, security agencies urged the protesters to disperse since they had not secured permission, to which leader of the demonstration responded, “If our Prophet is blasphemed we will not wait for any law, Islam supersede any laws of the country.”

Man 'killed' by silicone penis injection

A woman killed a man by injecting his penis with a fatal dose of liquid silicone, a court has heard.
Kasia Rivera, 35, is accused of performing the botched penis enlargement operation on 22-year-old Justin Street with no medical licence or training.

Father-of-two Justin went to Rivera's apartment on May 5 for the operation, a service which she advertised in fliers posted in local businesses, prosecuters say.
But Street died the following day from a silicone embolism, the US court in New Jersey heard.
Rivera, who faces up to ten years in prison if convicted, has pleaded not guilty to reckless manslaughter.
Investigators believe she may have conducted other similar unauthorized procedures out of her apartment in East Orange, near New York, but other clients are yet to come forward.
Anything injected into the penis goes directly into the blood stream and can result in a painful death.
Liquid silicone is sought on the black market by women seeking to enhance their figures, even though it is not approved for cosmetic injections.
Substances such as paraffin, petroleum jelly and hydrogel have also been used illegally to enlarge women’s breasts, hips and buttocks

It's Finally here: Apple unveils iPhone 5: San Francisco (CNN)

- Apple on Wednesday announced the latest version of the iPhone.

The iPhone 5 looks similar to previous models but has a larger screen and is lighter and thinner than the iPhone 4S. The company says the larger screen will make it easier to check and send e-mails and to view Web pages with the phone in your hand.

The phone also comes with a new, faster processor called the Apple A6; and it connects to mobile carriers with a 4G LTE connection, making for speedier Internet browsing.

"It just screams," said Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller, in introducing the device.

The iPhone 5 starts at $200 with a two-year mobile contract and will be available on September 21 in the United States. Pre-orders for the device begin on Friday.

The iPhone 5 is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the current version, the iPhone 4S. It has a 4-inch screen, measured diagonally, compared to a 3.5-inch screen on previous versions of the phone. It is the same width as the iPhone 4S, but is taller than that phone; and the iPhone 5 is made entirely of glass and aluminum.

Those features are likely to be popular with consumers. Another, however, may cause some backlash. The new iPhone comes with a different-sized charging cord, meaning speakers and radios designed to work with the old iPhone cord won't function seamlessly with the new iPhone. The company did create an adapter, however, so that the old devices aren't useless.

Apple calls this new cord "lightning," and says it is 80% smaller than the previous iPhone cord.

During a press conference in San Francisco, Apple also announced an update to its mobile operating system, iOS 6, which accommodates the larger iPhone 5 screen.

The new operating system adds another row of icons to the phone's home screen; includes a new, 3-D version of digital maps; and has a feature called Passbook, which lets people pull up airline tickets or payment apps from the locked home screen.
Apple also unveiled a new line of iPods, including an iPod nano with a 2.5-inch touchscreen. That device, which starts at $150, is able to pause live radio. And Apple updated its headphones, now called Earpods, to have better audio quality and a new look.
For many tech fans, the fall Apple press event is the highlight of a season filled with gadget announcements and releases. Last week, Amazon unveiled its latest Kindle Fire tablets, and Nokia and Motorola announced new smartphones. HTC has an announcement scheduled for later in the month.

The companies are rushing to get their products our in time for the holiday season, where they will battle it out for consumer dollars in an increasingly crowded mobile-device market.

This is Apple's sixth iPhone model. Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone six years ago on a stage just one block away in the Moscone Center.

Since then the iPhone has taken off, selling around 244 million units around the world. According to research firm IDC, the iPhone and it's iOS operating system makes up 16.9% of the worldwide smartphone market, coming in behind all phones running the Android operating system, which accounts for 68.1% of the world's smartphones.

The winning streak has carried over to Apple's stock price, which hit an all time high of $683.29 a share last Friday.

Some people weren't impressed with the new device, however.

"Apple doesn't innovate anymore," one commenter wrote on CNN's live blog from the event. "They got where they are today by taking bold risks, but they are afraid to change anything that would affect their No. 1 product. Who could blame them?"

Exposed: SICKENING Video Footage Of Cowboy Doctor, Joshua Drah (aka 'The Sexy Lord Of Abortion'), RAPING His Victims Before Performing Illegal Abortions On Them! WARNING: Viewer Discretion Is Strictly Advised!

I am in SHOCK! To say that I feel sickened by this MONSTER, Joshua Drah, is an understatement. I am so upset and disgusted and really could not finish watching the video, which graphically shows this PIG penetrating ALL the women that come to his clinic while their legs are strapped (unprotected btw) before using UNSTERILIZED EQUIPMENT to butcher them, all in the name of performing abortions.

This ANIMAL will pretend to 'seek the consent' of his victims by telling them while they are in that helpless position, that he has to have sex with them to make the procedure 'less painful' and to buttress his point, actually started yanking out the insides of a hesitant girl, who quickly allowed him have his wicked way after screaming out in pain! Even with blood already pouring out of her! The procedure is also done without anaesthetic, so the women are fully conscious, feeling every torture this ANIMAL inflicts on them.

The mere sight of this PIG, his filthy clinic, the blood, him penetrating those helpless women, has put me off even making breakfast for my daughter this morning. I feel so sick and couldn't finish watching the video and am in tears at the mere thought of the damage he has done to those poor women. He isn't a qualified doctor, has been practising illegally for 15 years and doesn't even know his HIV status. I hope the Ghanaian authorities test, treat and rehabilitate those poor women and SENTENCE THIS FOOL TO DEATH! Yes, I said it! THAT IS WHAT PAEDOPHILES AND RAPISTS DESERVE! BUNCH OF SICK ANIMALS!!!

Well done to Anas Aremeyaw, Ghana's own answer to Donal MacIntyre, for his good investigative job on exposing illegal practices like these. Keep up the good job and God bless you bro.

If you have the stomach to watch it, then click on the link below to watch it on OMG! Ghana's site. You have been WARNED again that the sight you are about to be confronted with is very GRAPHIC and GORY and you may not be the same after watching it. I certainly am not. I'm out for today guys, this is very upsetting!!!

Another Nollywood Super Actress,Ngozi Nwosu,Bedridden

The news CKN Nigeria is getting from the home of popular veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu who has acted in over 200 movies is not cheering.
According to a very close source to the amiable multi linguist actress, she is seriously sick and needs the prayers of all well-meaning Nigerians and her fans across the globe to pull through.
We heard that Ngozi who had been in and out of hospital some time ago took ill two weeks ago and was rushed to a private hospital in Lagos. After two weeks in the hospital, she will be moved to a General Hospital in Lagos today Thursday 13th September 2012.
She was once rumoured to be suffering from Leukemia (cancer of the blood) but she came out to debunk the rumour. We ll continue to monitor her progress….CKN

Below was an interview she granted a National Newspaper sometime ago

Ngozi Nwosu has been in the Nollywood industry for quite a long time. But her sudden loss of weight has caused tongues to wag that the former robust actress is suffering from leukemia (cancer of the blood). In this interview with Angela Davies, she debunked the rumour and advised that journalists should check their facts

Popularly called Peace due to her role in ‘Fuji House of Commotion’, this versatile actress started her acting career professionally in 1985 and since then she has not looked back. No doubt she has lost a lot of weight but how true is the rumour?

Speaking on how the news that she had cancer of the blood started spreading and who started the rumour, the actress with anger in her voice revealed that, “It was Samuel Olatunji. I don’t know where Samuel got that trash from. All I know is that I started having calls from all over the world. I got the newspaper and got on the internet and saw all the things written about me. To me, I don’t know how some journalists behave really. Even if you heard and it’s a rumour, you have every right to call me and confirm. He even went ahead as far as quoting that they got in touch with me. When in actual fact he did not.
Wherever he got that from I don’t know. Probably he was drunk or something. Sometimes journalists need to be checked. With what he wrote, he wrote like someone who was under the influence of drug or something. He did not even call me but when the trouble started, he was able to look for my number and call me to beg. This is so bad. My life that I have put together for so long, I don’t know why Samuel decided to crash it overnight. It is not fair. It is not fair; journalists should really watch what they write about people. Yes I am a celebrity that is why the rumour spread so fast. Even up till yesterday I was still receiving calls. I still have to explain myself because each person that sees it would want to call especially if that person is a lover of you or have your interest at heart. I have to answer questions upon questions.
It is not fair, if they want to write something about us or want to sell their paper I am not saying they should not gossip but there are some gossips that are unhealthy and character assassinating. It is not nice because at a point I myself I even said “Ngozi is there any sickness you have that you don’t know about?” No, it is true because there is a way they will talk about you that even you that owns yourself, you will begin to doubt yourself. I was like maybe I have a sickness that I don’t know about? And I don’t.”
She revealed that she lost weight drastically because she slugs it out with exercise. “I slug it out with exercise, that is why I am able to drop from a size 18 to a size 14. I work out from Mondays to Saturdays. It is only Sundays that I don’t walk out. That is how I got my shape.” The actress who was stylishly dressed also took time to talk about her style in a lighter mood. She emphasised that style is something that you are comfortable in. “Style is being modest; it is being a little bit fashion conscious. Knowing what to wear at the right place and at the right time and wearing what actually suits you.
Revealing her own kind of style, she said “My style, I will say, sometimes have to do with moods. It depends on where I am going to but on a good day, my day to day activities as Ngozi Nwosu, I love being simple. Except when it is a special occasion, that is when I try to go extra mile to really dress up. If it is not an occasion, you won’t see me in make-up. How does Ngozi Nwosu relax? “I relax doing so many things. Sometimes I dance, I read, sometimes I make fun with people, we gist and laugh. Some times I take a bottle of fanta. If it is when I used to drink, I take ginger and lime, campari soda. I relax with it but now that I am not into alcohol anymore, I take all the minerals.”
Speaking on her best colour, she said “My best colour is black. I just love black maybe because I am fair. As a fair person, you look so good in black. You look excellently good in black. Another colour I love is royal blue. I love colours that bring me out. I love black, blue, fuschia pink and yellow. My hairstyle has being dreads and it is going to two years now. I started it with puff puff and it has grown. I can pack it now. She appealed to her fans to keep encouraging her because she will always be there to serve them. And that they should pray for her that whatever her enemies have thought over her head will not come to reality. “To my fans I just want to tell them God bless them and I love them”

Charles Novia Opens Up Fight Between Him and Omotola Jolade

"I am very dangerous when I am cross, Omotola. By the time I am through with you, you will be shocked what will happen to you and your career". ...

The above statement is an extract from the book written by the prolific film maker, actor and director, Charles Novia. Charles has poetically revealed the secret behind his fight with Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde. 'Nollywood Till November' the book, states

"As the recording of the movie continued Omotola somehow started getting on a lot of the crew and cast nerves. Since this is a ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ book and since I am generally known to be outspoken, I believe I have to reveal a bit of this, not in any way to disparage her person but to be candid in my opinion. Little unnecessary skirmishes with one person or the other became rampant.

It got to a head one day that my Production Manager, who is usually easy-going and friendly lost his temper and came to me. ‘Sir, please this will be the last time I will ever work with you if Omotola features in your movie after this one!’ he complained.

CHARLES NOVIA
I was taking everything in my stride and trying to calm frayed nerves when a couple of days to the end of the shoot, Omotola practically drove me crazy.

I am very calm most of the time as a person and as a movie director but that day I blew my top! I remember screaming at her and she was shocked at first but made the mistake of putting up a defence. That was when I basically warned her in a very deadly tone to be mindful of me. Most of my crew members were shocked to see me in that mood.

No one had ever seen me like that. I remember Norbert Young, Empress and Tari West calming me, while Ramsey sat coolly in a corner fiddling with his phone. Omotola seeing my mood, wisely went to her car and sulked.‘Who told you to leave my set?’ I bawled. ‘Get back here and lets shoot!’ All this and many more filled the beautiful pages of the veteran film-maker.

Police did not beat LASAMBUS driver to death – Lagos PPRO (vanguard)

LAgos police command Wednesday exonerated its men over the death of  a 56-year-old  driver of the  Lagos State Ambulance Services, LASAMBUS, who was allegedly died on Tuesday evening, when he was stopped by some policemen attached to Surulere division for violating the new traffic law.

While some LASAMBUS staff  accused the policemen of hitting the deceased, Jimoh Fasasi ,with the butt of their guns during a scuffle that ensued between them and the deceased, the Lagos State Police Command described the claim as untrue, asserting that  the deceased slumped and died moments later in the hospital.

The late Fasasi was reportedly riding home on his motorbike on the fateful evening. However, on reaching Stadium Bridge around Barracks  at about 7p.m., a team of policemen who were enforcing the new traffic law reportedly confiscated his motorcycle for plying the bridge, as action that is unlawful.

A LASAMBUS staff who pleaded anonymity told Vanguard that the deceased contacted his office informing one Lateef, of the development.

According to the source;  “Fasasi told Lateef that a policeman was beating him at Surulere, urging him to rush down. We were later told that  as the policeman continued hitting him with the butt of his gun, he slumped in the process and started foaming in the mouth”

But when contacted, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braid, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, stated emphatically that the policemen did not have a hand in Fasasi’s death.

“Rather, investigation conducted around the scene,” according to her, “revealed that after making calls on his phone, the deceased moved close to a petty trader who was selling soft drinks.

“When he got there, he started panting while the trader was staring at him. But after some time, he fell down and started shaking  and foaming from the mouth. He was immediately rushed to the Island General Hospital, where the Divisional Police Officer was called at night to say he had died.”

Trouble: Nigeria’s oil reserves on the decline, says DPR

THE Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has expressed serious concern that there has been a decline in Nigeria’s crude oil reserves for the first time in 54 years.

And concerned that Nigeria was losing several billions of naira yearly to oil theft and subsidy, Chairman of South-East Governors’ Forum, Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State, has advocated a more severe penalty for perpetrators.

The Director, DPR, Mr. Osten Olorunsola, said the implication of the sharp decline in Nigeria’s crude oil reserves, which is estimated at 36 billion barrels, is that it will be difficult to realise the 40 billion barrels reserves projection by 2020.

Olorunsola disclosed this at the 4th Emmanuel Egbogah legacy lecture series on petroleum economics and strategy with theme: “The Nigeria petroleum industry and global geopolitics”, which held at the University of Port Harcourt.

He expressed concern about the future of the oil industry in Nigeria, noting that the country needs to begin to extract maximum benefit from its crude oil and gas resources. According to him, the whole idea of exporting 2.7 million barrels and importing refined products is antithetical to economic wellbeing of the country.

The DPR boss explained that the declining reserves and the emergence of more countries in sub-Sahara Africa as producers and exporters of crude oil, in addition to United States of America’s less dependence on foreign crude oil, should serve as wake up call for Nigeria.

On the issue of crude oil theft, Olorunsola noted that besides the money lost in form of revenue to the country and cost incurred from repairing damaged oil facilities, the most devastating impact of this nefarious act remains its adverse impact on the environment.
