in the area.

Mr. Utuama was held hostage by youths in
the area when he visited the area to assess

South local government area of Delta state.

entourage hostage for over two hours.

I had amazing sex with lover in the rain but he has a wife

I'm so in love I had sex in the rain and it felt
like the world was on fire but I’m crushed
when my lover has to go back to his wife.
I’m 17 and I’m doing travel and tourism at
college. I love my course and I’ve made some
good friends but I met this guy at a party two
months ago. I knew him by sight as he’s kind
of a family friend. He’s 31, married and drinks
with my brother sometimes.
Our eyes met as he walked in the room. He
came over and flirted like mad. I could tell he
didn’t recognise me. He’d had a few drinks
and said I was sexy and gorgeous. “Shame
you’re married!” I said.
I told him my name and he looked pretty
awkward at first. Then he smiled and said,
“Can you keep secrets?” He said things were
‘tricky’ at home and he wanted to see me
again.
We swapped numbers and started this crazy
affair. At first it was just sexy phone calls and
texts but then it began to get real. He sends
me a text when he’s free and parks down the
road from my house. We go for a drive and
find somewhere quiet to have sex.
If it’s wet we have sex in his car but last time
it started off sunny so we were lying on some
grass, then it started to rain really hard. It felt
so amazing I just laughed when we got to the
end and I found myself drenched to the skin.
He’s the best thing that’s happened to me
and he says that he’ll work something out –
but I’m scared that I’m going to get hurt

My Wife Always Smells Of Other Men’s Semen - Husband Tells Court

A 39-year-old estate agent, Mr. Ibukun
Oluwadamilare, caused much laughter
when he told a Lagos Grade A Customary
Court, sitting in Agege, that he used to
wash his wife’s pants, which smell of other
men’s semen.
He said: “Whenever she comes back at night
from an outing, I always perceive sperm odour
and she always returns home with pink lips,
which indicated that a man have rough handle
her and also kissed her lips.”
Ibukun informed the court that he got
married Mrs Adesuwa Oluwadamilare in the
year 2000 and the union is blessed with
three children and that Adesuwa had two
children from her previous marriage. He
claimed that his wife packed out of his
house four years ago after she gave birth
to their last born, adding that Adesuwa
suddenly became uncontrollable.
He alleged that Adesuwa went to lodge in a
hotel located somewhere in lju-lshaga.
Ibukun also informed the court that his
wife would have killed him with some fetish
substances she robbed on her face, body
and private part.
However, lbukun pleaded that the court should
not dissolve the marriage, because he still loves
her. Earlier, 33-year-old Mrs Oluwadamilare
informed the court that she mistakenly got
pregnant for lbukun in 2000, and he refused to
pay her bride price even after three children.
Adesuwa said what really informed her decision
to approach the court was to make her husband
come to her village in Edo State and marry her
according to the custom and tradition of their
land. She claimed that lbukun always accused
her of dating young men and capitalised on the
situation to abuse her.
She said: “There was a day he beat me at a
bus top and tore my clothes to shreds. I left
there stark naked.”
She said her husband always monitors her
movement and does not give her peace of
mind. Meanwhile, the court President, Mr.
Emmanuel Shokunle adjourned the case till
October 22 for further hearing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: Affair With Housekeeper Was 'Stupidest Thing I've Done'

Arnold Schwarzenegger is speaking out for the
first time about his affair with housekeeper
Mildred Baena, which resulted in a secret child
and the demise of the former California governor's
marriage to Maria Shriver.
In a new interview with "60 Minutes'" Lesley
Stahl, the actor admitted he's not proud of his
marital transgressions.

"I think it was the stupidest thing I've done in the
whole relationship. It was terrible," Arnold said of
the affair, after Lesley pointed out Maria "gave up
her television career" for her then-husband. "I
inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and
unbelievable pain on the kids." Arnold writes of
the affair with Mildred (as well as fathering a
child, Joseph, with the woman) in his new
autobiography, "Total Recall: My Unbelievably
True Life Story," and also reveals he stepped out
on his marriage to Maria with an additional
woman.
The actor said that though the incidents in the
book (which Maria has not yet read, according to
Arnold) may not paint him in the best light, he
wanted to let people in on all parts of his life -- the
good, the bad and the ugly.

"She knows that it's about my whole life," he said
of Maria's knowledge of the tell-all. "I would not
write a book and kind of leave out that part and
make people feel like, 'Well, wait a minute. Are we
just getting a book about his success stories and
not talk about his failures?'"
Adding, "I wanted to write a book about me."

683 Female Pilgrims Deported From Saudi Arabia

The government of Saudi Arabia yesterday
Thursday September 27th deported another
batch of 512 pilgrims to Nigeria, a day after
deporting 171 women.
The Saudi government detained and
eventually deported these women who went
to the country for the 2012 Hajj, because
they were not accompanied by approved
male guardians which they say is against laid
down rules of their kingdom. Over one
thousand Nigerian female pilgrims were
detained at the Abdul-Aziz International
Airport and King Fahd Airport in Jeddah and
Medina before they started gradually
deporting them into Nigeria via Kano and
Sokoto airports
Nigerian government yesterday issued a 24-
hour ultimatum to the Saudi authority to
resolve the issue...or... Well, the ultimatum
expired today and hundreds of pilgrims are
still detained.

KILLER WIND

The Nigerian Meteorological
Agency (NIMET) has warned Nigerians to take
precautions against violent winds that may
occur during the dry season, due to the
effects of climate change.
The Director-General of NIMET, Dr Anthony
Anuforom, gave the warning in Abuja.

He said, “We are transiting now from rainy to
dry season; the kinds of things we may
experience are violent winds. Therefore, we
advise people to avoid staying under trees.
“The reason why we alert people is for them
to know ahead of time and take necessary
precautions.
“We have no ability to protect natural
disasters but the ability to observe what the
weather is and inform the people early.”
Anuforom further noted that if forecasts by
the agency were strictly adhered to it could
help save the situation, adding that any
emergency situation could only surprise
people unexpectedly if there were no early
warnings.
“If adequate disaster risk measures are taken,
the number of deaths will decrease because
people would have known what to expect,’’
Anuforom said.

OVER A MILLION NIGERIANS WILL DIE IF NYOS DAM SHOULD COLLAPSE- NEMA

Over a million Nigerians are likely to die
if the Nyos Dam in Cameroon should
collapse the National Emergency
Management Agency (NEMA) has
warned.

The agency made this known at the
presentation of a manual to prevent such an
occurrence. The manual, which was endorsed
on Thursday at a ceremony in Abuja by
stakeholders, aims to put measures in place
to mitigate flood waters from the lake from
affecting the people of Benue State.
The agency said the manual, titled Lake Nyos
Disaster Response Manual, was produced to
“proactively prepare for the disaster that may
arise from the possible collapse’’ of the Lake
Nyos Dam in Western Cameroon.

Director-General of NEMA, Alhaji Muhammed
Sidi, said Lake Nyos was close to Nigeria and
that a 2005 UNDP report had predicted that
the dam was at “a point of potential
collapse’’.
Sidi, who was represented by NEMA’s
Director of Administration, Dr. Zanna
Muhammad, said the report predicted that
the collapse might be caused by gradual
erosion from rain, wind and lake waters, or as
a result of violent volcanic eruption.
The representative of the DG explained that
the report mentioned the possibility of the
breakdown of the dam within 10 years,
adding that the eventual failure of the dam
would result in the discharge of about 55
million cu. metres of water which would
result in flooding downstream.
“It is estimated that between Cameroon
border and River Benue, 50 settlements,
including Katsina-Ala, Kashimbilla, Waya,
Manga, Gamovo, Andie, Terwegh and over
15,000 hectares of land will be flooded.
“Also, over one million people and 20,000
heads of cattle and other livestock will be
affected and could perish,” he said.
He also said that financial losses had been
estimated to be in billions of naira,
comprising of crops, residential and
commercial structures, utilities and
infrastructure, including roads and bridges
and other services.

POLICE BAGS DEATH SENTENCE FOR KILLING 3 YEAR OLD GIRL

Three years after he callously killed a
three year old girl Kausarat Muritala in
cold blood in Lagos, Justice Olabisi
Akinlade of the Lagos High Court in
Ikeja yesterday sentenced ex-police
corporal, Ikechukwu Nwabueze to death
by hanging.
Justice Akinlade handed down the verdict
after reviewing the fact of the case,
according to her, the weight of evidence
before the court showed that Nwabueze had
the intention to kill.
It will be recalled that Nwabueze was alleged
to have in April 2009 shot at a car in which
the parents, the three-year old Kausarat, and
her siblings were commuting at Oba Nle Aro
Bus Stop, Alapere, Ketu.
The condemned man and his colleagues took
to their heels when they discovered that the
there was a fatality.
However, they were later arrested, while
Nwabueze who was later dismissed from the
Police Force, was said to have confessed
during investigation that he shot dead the
deceased little girl.
The convict, however, recanted during trial,
maintaining that he was coerced to make the
confessional statement by the police officer
who investigated the case.
The condemned man also claimed that he
was not the only one that fired shots into the
air and that other members of his team also
did same.
The court pointed out some inconsistencies in
the testimony of Nwabueze while also holding
that a recanted confessional statement does
not necessarily cancel its relevance.
“It is trite law that the confessional statement
of a defendant is relevant regardless of the
fact that it is recanted. It is also trite that a
person can be convicted on the basis of the
confessional statement.
“It is my opinion that the evidence of P1 is
consistent with the testimonies of PW 2 and
PW 3.”
The judge further held that the testimonies of
the prosecution witnesses were not
discredited during cross-examination unlike
that of the defence.
According to her “By his training as a police
officer he (Nwabueze) cannot claim ignorance
of the probable consequences of shooting at
the vehicle.
“I therefore hold that the defendant had
intention to kill or cause bodily harm to the
occupants of the car. I find the defendant
guilty as charged.”
After court reached it decision, counsel to the
defendant, A.O. Omodele made an allocutus
(plea for mercy) for the convict, urging the
judge to temper justice with mercy on the
grounds that he was at his duty post when
the offence was committed and that he was a
first offender. He also said that he was a
young man who was yet to be married and
had a lot to contribute to the nation.
But, the Lagos State Director of Public
Prosecution, Mrs. Olabisi Ogungbesan
opposed Omodele’s plea.
She said: “We do not have enough records of
the defendant. Notwithstanding, the menace
of police in releasing bullets recklessly on
innocent citizens should be discouraged.
While passing out her sentence the court
held that it is not convinced of any reason
why it should show some leniency.
She therefore pronounced: “The sentence of
the court upon you is that that you be hung
on the neck until you are dead. And may God
have mercy on your soul.”
